Privacy notice
LG Apartelle (Visayan Village, 0121 Purok Rambutan, Visayan Village, Tagum City, Davao del Norte) runs this website, the chat and the front desk. This notice explains what we collect about you, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us.
What we collect
- When you book: your name, email address, mobile number, your dates and guests, and any special request.
- When you pay online: PayMongo processes your payment. We receive the amount and whether it was paid, never your card details.
- At check-in: the type of ID you show, your name, birth date and ID number (encrypted; for a PhilSys ID, only its last four characters). Staff may take a photo of the ID; it is encrypted, only staff who need it can open it, and every view is recorded.
- When you chat with us: your messages. Our chat assistant may answer first; a person from the team can always take over.
Why
To manage your booking and payment, to know who stayed in our fully furnished units (for the safety of guests and property), and to answer your questions.
How long we keep it
- ID photos: deleted 30 days after check-out, unless needed for an incident.
- The ID details staff confirmed (type, name, birth date, number): kept with your booking records.
- Chats: deleted after 180 days without new messages.
- Booking and payment records: as long as the law requires for receipts and taxes.
Who sees it
Only our staff, each according to their role. We share data only with the services that run the booking: PayMongo (payments), our email provider (confirmations) and, when it is switched on, our AI provider (the text of chat messages, with email addresses, phone and ID numbers removed, to word replies; and for staff questions, the booking details needed to answer them). ID photos and ID details never go to the AI provider. We never sell your data.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need it. Contact us at +63 995 842 6259 or through Messenger, or ask at the front desk.
